Can You Hear Me

my heart hurts as it smolders, conditions, disorders that make up who i am, burning
away all that i have left in my soul, in my heart. i am screaming, screaming oh so
silently, but you do not hear me. you do not see where i have gone in this dark world.
slipping silently, oh so silently back into the disturbing place i once occupied. where cuts
and burns and blood are as common as birds sitting on a trees bark. where am i, im
forced to wonder some days, when my mind roams free and i am without control.
ravaged by emotions running wild as mustangs. tears fall and i wipe them away with
the back of my hand, crying, silently, oh so silently. i look at you, my eyes a silver
blue, and no longer masking how i feel inside. eye liner smuged around my eyes,
lashes wet and painting dots upon my cheeks. i am drowning inside myself again,
silently, oh so silently, i am drowning. i no longer breath, i barely see. screaming
silently, can you hear my screams?

Dearest Rain: Quite a powerful and emotional poem. I know how hard it can be to face another day, when all of life seems to be full of death. All i can tell you is to seek the light. When you do, it will lead you out of darkness. Yours truly: Sheol

my ears are wide open and i can hear every single scream, pulling you closer pressing my beating heart against your chest so you can once again breathe, don't drown in sorrow, open up your eyes and look towards tomorrow. i won't let you cry a single tear again. i won't let you lie here broken. i swear
