Can You Handle It

She flinches when you raise your hand. Thanks to an abusive man. She apologizes for everything before you can say, It's not your fault, it's ok. She doesn't believe, a word you speak of. Lies before, really did hurt her. She can't accept, that she's worth it. Thanks to the man, she once trusted. She may never see, who she really is. She needs true love, put into her heart again. The question to the man, who thinks he can. Mend her heart with everything to give. Can you honestly handle it?
