Can You Find Yourself?

Have you ever found yourself staring down a person that looks so familiar?
Take a closer look and you'll see that person is you.
No matter how much you wanna regret it you turned out like your older brother or better
yet your fifty-year-old father.

Look at your shadow and you think you see your mother.
You rushed to the kitchen whenever you were asked to cook.
Can you find Yourself and stop mimicking those who already lived their lives?

What are you doing? Do sell yourself! Don't stoop so low as to act like your actual
blood-sister!
You're better than everyone gives you credit for.
A tall Jersey boy looking for a Hollywood model, can't be done.
Your dreams were made in Jersey but what lyrical speech do you have?!

Always staring into space like lunatic waiting for the world to crumble and yet you still
can't find Yourself!!!

Start looking far and hard 'cause next time we meet it'll be in Californ-I-A.
