can you

Can you feel my touch in the dark when no one is about
Do you want to run and hide too block the feeling out?

Can you taste my tears in the falling rain? And can you hear my voice in the wind, and is it causing you pain

Can you still smell me in our room at night when you’re alone in bed
Do you get up and pace the floor to get me out of your head

Can you see the pictures of us on holiday that we took
Or did you hide them away out of view in a book?

Can you remember my words of love? Do you hold them in your heart
Would you be able to say them now we have been torn apart

Can you recall the day and time that I had to say goodbye
I loved you then and love you now, and I did not want to die

Can you feel my presence? Can you feel me near I might be gone from this life, but in your memories I will never disappear.
