Can You

 I am a form of divine chaos
that most don't understand
Only needing soft words of
love and hold onto a hand

Let me still breathe while
you take away my breath
Bring my being a sweet new
life not smother it to death

Cradle my essence, love it
like it was your very own
Whisper to my soul each
night not leave me all alone

Calm the ache in my chest
to still my beating heart
Can you truly be that one
and not just play the part
