Can We Get To That

CAN WE GET TO THAT…

Unspoken thoughts of truism
Pretending as we practise altruism

Why do we do what we do
Why say what we say
Is it for ourselves or 
Another’s bouquet 

In our fallen little paradigms
Do we feel consuming obliges
To make others worlds completed
When ours is sadly depleted

Can we get to that…???

Point of self recognition
Complete in our own cognition?

The battle of obligation
Vs. our self preservation

This is our earthly demise
We live in constant
Compromise
