Can It Be True
Can it be true, as each day begins,
we have one more chance to show
a world full of doubt what love is about
and how true love can still grow?
Can it be true, I really have you,
or, does each day tell a lie?
If our love isn't real, I'll make this appeal --
Don't let what it is say good-bye!
Those all around us may also know love.
But, somehow, it isn't the same.
Can it be true, someone like you
would go through this life with my name?
