can I talk to you today oh Lord as if to a friend? for that is what you told me to call You from the beginning my Father, my Savior, my Everlasting Prince of Peace to You I bring my burdens please give me relief I hope that from me oh Lord You never draw away for then I will have no one to whom I can pray in my time of need oh Lord to you I do turn in my despair let the spirit within me discern rain down on me oh Lord pour out to me Your blessings let Your abundant mercy put an end to all my stressing let one drop of the Sacrificial Blood fall upon me and cleanse me today so I can claim the victory touch me this day oh Lord stretch out to me Thy hand heal my heart and brokenness and help me to stand stir me up this day oh Lord to satisfy Your desires rebuke the enemy surrounding me so I can do all that you require as I stand here today oh Lord at the altar of Thy throne I have come to realize that I can't do it on my own so I thank You in advance oh Lord glory to Thy name as You continue to guide me through all my hurts and pain so I come to you today oh Lord down on my knees let Your grace, joy and happiness now manifest in me
