Can a girl fight for love
Even though it seems tough?
Can she win a boy's heart
When he decided to part?
He went away without a word
And to the girl it occurred
She couldn't let it end like that
She had to run and get him back
But now we all know
Just how cruel and cold
A guy can be
When he wants to be set free
He would search but not find
A love of some kind
When he didn't care
That true love is so rare
But slowly his mind
Will begin to find
The girl of his heart
Has been there from the start
