Calmly Raising My Voice

Day after day of listening to you
was pure torture.
And there were days
I wanted to take your words
and force feed them to you
to see how you like it.

Well you have pushed me way too far.
So now I will say something
and I suggest you brace yourself
as I calmly raise my voice.

 Because my words
have been at the surface edge
for way too long.

Just so you know
my words aren't afraid of you,
so don't try catching them.
Because you will only be left
looking like an ass.
