Calm Seas

When the tides are so rough when you know you had enough I run I just
take off not knowing where I'm going just got to get there where the air
is fresh and clear where my mind body and soul is almost there where the

wind kisses the sound of my feet where the sun toast the arch in my back
where the ends of the ocean meets us where I feel the breeze put me at
ease that's where I wanna be in the mist of the calm seas where the ocean

meets the shore where I won't cry no more as I walk along the sand releasing
the pain from my hands all the work all the worries gone from sight as I watch
the calm seas and sun light all my dreams I gather as I make a wish as I pray

that this day and each day forward to bring me closer to inner peace and serenity
I gather my thoughts and gab my shawl just holding my stature only so tall just
to get there just to sit there just to feel the breeze of the calm seas.
