Calm on troubled waters
Speaks decibels of trust
Keep me by your side
Least I fall to any type of lust.

Though troubles beat on my door
Enable me to trust you
Greater faith I now implore.
Thank You for the peace
I have no reason to possess
It passes all understanding
This dear soul to bless.
Calm when I’m wronged
Comes only from you
So does forgiveness
No revengeful thoughts in view.
My soul will not worry
Or falter with doubt
Because your calm waters
Lie around me all about.
