Calling
A times consent of Godly vent
some errant struggle's recompense
in following as reward's expense,
obedience is the Master's fence.
And of some firstly innocence
is spry with fear and detriment
uncertainty, but led to whence
the spirit's calling compliments.
The sinner, led by his offense
to God, by Holy increments
true humbling, and new faith's condense ~
a calling jolts the common sense.
Awakened from some finding's dense,
a plateau guides this strange event
until the mind sees implement
a calling wavers with augment.
My calling, then to thee consents
to spiritual prowess, from intense
compassion for thy needing's meant
as God gives love's revering sent!
