Call Into the Night

Sometimes death it calls to me, like a welcomed beckon in the night.
A way to end all the miserery, a way to escape this stress and freight.
But of this call I do not answer, I can not meet death at its door.
The pain it would bring to all those I love, this is a pain I can not give,
This is a promise that I swore!

Kirstie, this so breaks my heart. Don't think there aren't many of us who can relate to this, because there are. It is a promise you must keep, for the reasons you say. And one day, sweet friend, things will be better, try to believe it. Sending you much love and encouraging hugs. Hang in there. Keep writing. Love always, Shar

you seem to have touched on a philosophy I have lived by all of my life - dying is easy it's living that is hard - death is no more than a stopping of the hands while life is being crushed by them. Blessings always
