California Raging Inferno

Under a State of Emergency California Inferno We thought 113 degrees was so bad? Now people and pets have to run for their lives! Whilst we sit cooly in out poetic dives! So absorbed in this community of electronic society? Looking out my window, seeing yellowed skies. Full of smoke and debris, Best stay indoors, highly advised. Northern California, we are taking a big hit! Thanks to the fury of lightning, which dry brush and trees took afiery hit. Vacaville, Fairfield, Napa being evacuated. It's frightening to be living here. Once a free- thinking state that I held so very dear. To be in the middle of the virus and people running for their lives, Makes me want to take my cat, a few things. But, I ask..where is there to hide? August 19, 2020 3pm PST

You described the plight of so many folks and God's innocent creatures caught up in dreadful fires both in your state of Calif but also here in western Colorado. Stay safe. Bob

Hi Bob~ holy cow! Hope things are better for you in Colorado and that the rains came! Saw alpacas, ponies, and pigs being rescued. The ponies had burns on them. Houses are gone. You can go to KCRA.com...they have images, videos. Lastly, my house stuck from fire this morning. It was suggested we run the AC. I opened my front door.... I never smelled such stench. We are on air quality alert. Wow hard to write poetry now, Pangie xx

So sad Panagiota, as if you didn't have enough to deal with with the virus and the heat. Read on the news that a fire fighting helicopter pilot was killed, may he RIP. Tom

Hi Tom..excuse the delay. Yes the virus and a shortage of equipment. The state government taxes here are insane and you heard about the farce how Gov. Know IT All spent millions for masks from China,,,ooops they were ineffective. So the fool ordered more from China. As if they could not be made here? That company in China, Is a huge contributor to his campaign. Anyway, such a dork. See my comments to Harry. People are leaving CA by the droves. Taxes nuts. Also madman releasing felons to add to the virus and fires. Holy Hell! Panagiota xx

Dear Harry, I recall big fires in Australia all that not long ago. Any dry bush can flare up and move at break neck speed. Yesterday at noon, our Governor talkes in his usual farcical way, that he had everything under control. Utterly foolish balderdash. As if he or you or I can control natural forces like wind, water fire or earthquakes. Quite a comedy show he put on. By the way, he also is the only man on the planet who can control covid? Really, as the cases mount? He doth reside in an alternate universe , me thinks.)) I am not next to any fires but that thought of fleeing Scares me, Harry! Nice to see you again.
