Calico Cat Missing
The lady down the street has lost her cat
A calico, I think, with feral ancestral ties
Her next door neighbor knows where it's at
Since, to spite her, he gave it to a friend.
But, calico cat has come to a good end,
Better than a meaner neighbor surmised
Because the pussy was left to roam loose
This neighbor had planned a poisonous dish
Which would've surely cooked calico's goose.
I have kept blithely discrete about calico's
Not-so-suspicious and handy disappearing
Since I like to keep peace in the neighborhood
And, I'm also still somewhat god-fearing.
