Calico Black and I
on my trusty stallion calico black
following illusions of sunlit skies
searching for something unseen
up where cold winter wind sighs
for a moment we decide to pause
on frozen fields now snowy white
to catch a breath from our riding
thru day's light that falls at night
we're both seeking green pastures
and a kingdom that's called home
until ghostly currents alight there
across our fantasies we will roam
