Calendar Notes
It’s nice to fill the calendar
With plans for lots of dates,
Assuming that on most of them
Some pleasantry awaits.
A day with friends, a dinner out,
A trip to someplace new;
Some tickets to a sports event,
A concert or revue.
A little note reminds me
Soon there’ll be a fun event
And anticipation is enough
To make me feel content.
