Cake

Soft, spongy, sweet
You are cake
Creamy, light and sugary perfume
You are cake
My arms come around you
And you dissolve in my mouth
My hand is like the fork
In your hair
My cake
Some things are meant to be close together
You are like good food
Nice tasty, but filling
Come back tomorrow
Nothing can ever taste the same twice
Coffee is different levels of weak,
Strong and in between
You crumbled beneath me
So slowly, gingerly
Like cake
Your pieces were pressed together
With your own moisture
You are like cake
