Caged Heart of a Corpse
How does it feel,
inside your small darkened cage?
Living each day, breathing in
your pathetic lies of rage.
Will you play this game
that has no winner in the end?
Leaving you,
simply put,
where it all had began.
Why be afraid of what you cannot control?
Let the layers, your desires start to unfold.
Take my hand, I shall show you the way.
And teacher I may never be,
but I can remind you, what your heart
your mind,
simply wont allow you to see.
Just trust the soft touch my fingers place,
and soon you too can have the world's embrace.
Longer must you linger in your pain,
soul so tarnished, blackened stained.
Fight the demons that keep you there,
till I can breathe in all that cares.
Your heart, a fragile lifeless smile
feinted, slowly dying,
reaching for the nearest worth while.
Let the world wash past your marble sins
remainders of your soul, whats left within.
