Caged Gorilla

Why am I here
this isn't my home
I do miss my mountain
and the trees where I'd roam
and what of my family
where have they gone
God knows if they're safe
but still life goes on
I hope they're not waiting
not waiting for me
just looking around
I'll never be free

Strong work Danielle! I have my mother and you just made me appreciate that more than I ever have. Thank you.

Good stuff Mark. I hate zoo's for this very reason. Very discriprive I really enjoyed it, even though it made me sad.
