Caged and Afraid

Caged and Afraid

Caged and Afraid
Naked and Ashamed
Dislodged and not found
 Lost but not Confound
Left as the Lonely Clown
The Lonely Clown
Not Free to Fly
Fear that I died
Hated not loved
Fought the lie
Only to loose
Tears dislodged from eyes
 Faith and prayer not there
When I strayed
 From truth
 I lost the light
 From my mind
 In The cell
 Bathed and cleaned
Rolled over by the governmental machine
Spider crawl scared by the sun
Their mistake
 But my self-worth
Turned to self hate
 Judged before ever spoken
Sentenced
Justice
Our commitment broken
Gone is my pride
Time as promised
I wanted lesser
I got maximum
No name tags
No medication
 No name
No phone
Location on known
The deal is for life
This conception
Of Monster caged
Just injustice
Leaves me drained
Fear seen
