Cage of Mundane

We've all been invited to the masquerade ball.
Where everyone's frowning underneath it all.
The elites are still getting paid.
For playing charades with our lives.
And pinball with our minds.
Such a heavy price that they'll pay.

The unveiling will commence, when it's to political advantage.
When the kings grow tired of the gain of function game.
Demanding the mice to nibble their masks away.
Then march right back into their cage of mundane.

Anthony, The king's getting tired of this game of masquerading and demanding mice to nibble off their masks very well reflect the images required of this contest. Congratulations for your fine placement in my contest. Mohan
