CADILLAC BLACK

CADILLAC BLACK

I heard it first
In time to turn
A grille of teeth
A fin submerged
Water splashed
Headlights flashed
The smell of death
Engine burn
It climbed a wave
Cracked and paved
Wipers slashed
The hearse emerged
Eyes rolled back
His foot on fast
All, I forgave
Death undeterred
