Bye Bye
once upon a time
a girl thought she'd found a place
a place to express
her deep and foolish
dreams and thoughts and fantasies
secret private cove
and now it's been spoiled
by those that must criticize
must be all they know
I believe that those
who feel the need must have been
under the constant
dark heavy blanket
of scrutiny and now live
to show us the way
well I'm outta here
thanks for the positive words
from those of you that
understand that we
only want to hear the good
