By the Stream

Was by the stream that day
Watching water flow by our way
Trees would sway
Nice breeze blowing our way
Sky was so blue
No clouds passing through
Sun felt so warm there
Life seemed so fair
There they held each other tight
No harm in sight
Talked about the day they met
Not long after, their mind was set
They were made for each other
Cause the love they had for one another
Soon the sun went over the hill
Sending down their back, a cold chill
It Was such a wonderful night
Under the stars and moonlight
Lightening bugs all around
Howling of wolves, was an eerie sound
Owls sat in a tree
Hooting as loud as can be
She spotted a falling star
Made her wish that night
She whispered softly in his ears
If only you knew
How much I love you
In return he said, I love you, too
My love is so true
Kissed each other goodnight
Fell asleep in each other's arms
Their time together was just right
