“the essence in us is the same as the essence of the sun”
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
By grace, saved from the pits of hell
because of His light, His love, all is well
I believe in this man, Jesus, who saved me
Once I was blind, but now I see…
By grace, saved from the darkest dread
because He is mine, and He said…
I have a Savior who makes a way
Through the dark, to the light of day.
By grace, saved from the sorrow and pain
because He is with me, so much to gain
I know that He’s alive and blessing my soul
Weeping may come but He’ll make me whole.
By grace, saved from the storms of life
because He destroys all the fear and strife
I know this man, Jesus, will right all wrong
Where I feel so weak, He’s making me strong.
By grace, saved from the shadows that come
because of faith, I’ll take from Him, each crumb
I can’t imagine a life without this comfort and love
Whatever happens, I’m seeking the One from above.
By grace, saved from the anger of life’s storms
because of a love that His presence forms
I know a peace beyond any peace that’s been known
Through the very worst, He’s still on the throne.
By grace, saved from the devil’s schemes
because of this faith, He’s the light of my dreams
I know this hope that is above all the rest
With Him, there is assurance that I’m blessed!
