By a Waterfall

By A Waterfall

I met a man tall and handsome
A lovely wife and children tandem
No depression or illusions
Just life with gusto no confusion
Where did he come from
What was he given
Nothing needing to be forgiven
Why not me
You must agree
There are good genes and bad genes
Luck of the draw
Subject to chance
And Murphy’s Law
You have to live with what you are given
Strive to succeed where you are driven
Accept it reject it
Like it or not
No use in fighting
You’ve got what you’ve got
