Buy Me Flowers When I'M Dead
Buy me flowers when I'm dead!
"Red Roses will do nicely" I said
Pink Carnations with Baby's Breath
Will be just perfect, after my death!
You can bring flowers now, if you wish
But they will only wilt in a vase or dish
Say "see you later" with a Water Lily
I know what you're thinking: This sounds silly!
Memorial services are the right time
To bring giant Tulips in their prime!
Think how happy the guests will be
To "breathe in" the aroma of love for me!
Orchids, Lilacs, maybe Cherry Blossom
Some Morning Glory's would be just awesome!
Plant me as a Jacaranda tree
With purple flowers for all to see!
Beautiful Daisies and Forget-Me-Nots
With Ladybugs crawling in planted pots
I couldn't be happier as I continue my mission
If my arms are filled as I make my transition.
