Butterfly Wishes

Today, a butterfly fluttered through the sky. Swooping, drawing near-- floating close enough to hear the wish whispered softly through teardrops, a little salty. It landed on a tiny nose and heard the giggle as it goes. To the heavens it soared up high, releasing the wish on a little sigh. Alesia Leach © 2/2015

I could visualize the butterfly landing on a wet little girl nose...touching right at the right time.

Paige, that image you painted--a butterfly landing on a wet little girl nose--was so perfect it made me smile and tear up at the same time. You always seem to arrive at just the right emotional moment, just like the butterfly. Thank you for feeling the softness in this one.

Such a beautiful and touching poem. Reminded me of the butterfly kisses I use to do with my kids. Gave me a warm fuzzy feeling. Thank you. A 7 from me
