When you are in the process of a remaking, the confinement, your cocoon, or the situation remaking you, is painstaking. It can feel like a life sentence. You forget who you thought you were and become what the event is chiseling you into. Your remaking, if it isn’t making you better, making you stronger, or more qualified to do or be what you long to do or aspire to... then you are not yet acquired your freedom wings.
BUTTERFLY WINGS
Butterfly wings now my lovely garments,
not the same anymore,
Into Spring I have bloomed from my prison.
Escaping the varmints, not ashamed anymore.
There's now a new preservation,
not to fear anymore,
now rewarded by the God of creation,
healing my painful sore.
Will never forget my darling forever,,
I'm not the same anymore,
It is I, never again to be forgotten,
beauty mine evermore,
