Butterfly Paradise

Butterfly Paradise
Easy on the eye
Blistering colour
As they pass me by
They make a stairway
Right up to the sky
A beautiful hue
Reaching on high
A beautiful green Butterfly
Wings outspread wide
Flutters and flitters
Enjoying the ride
As a mystic bubble caresses the cloud
Cocooned and held completely inside
Just like a gossamer shroud entombed
Drifts away like the ghost it has implied
So fly away little butterflies
Up into the gloom
Flying just like any old Witch
Up and away on her old broom
The multi-colored scene we are witnessing now
Will soon disappear completely out of sight
As our beautiful colored friends fly far away
Hopefully to return another night
