In my garden sits a red granite rock rife with flecks of quartz mica and feldspar. It's surrounded by emerald shamrock and flowers of yellow and cinnabar. Butterflies are lured to its surface salts and once, I spied an indigo blue one. A living masterpiece nature exalts a silken sapphire polished by the sun. Adorned with gold filigree fit for kings it was poised on the rock spreading its wings (Rhyme) 04,24,2019
