Butterfly Kisses

She stole my heart
When she came into this world.
She makes me fly without wings
Greatest love I've ever known
Little face, so full of wonder
Eyes so big and bright
It's from her that my sky draws its light
Everyday, she sings to me
A different silly little tune
From "Twinkle Twinkle Little Star"
to "The Cow Jumped Over the Moon"
And when she's done with her day
She always insists we pray
As she pleads for others and
Gives thanks to God in her own way
A blessing to me is to hear
Her many thoughtful wishes
She always gives the best hugs
She showers me with so much love
Like millions of butterfly kisses
