Butterfly Girl

I was a witness to hopes decay, I was a light on your darkest day. You were a secret I couldn’t tell; You were a dream sent from hell. I know you’ll haunt my every dream, You will be heard in every scream. My freedom is something I can never earn, Even in death I know you’ll return. As I watch the blood flee from your skin, I lie waiting for the nightmare to begin.
