Butterfly Dance

In his arms I lay, watching a butterfly at play. It danced gracefully in the summer breeze, fluttering through the flowers and trees. With translucent wings dipped in gold, it floated closer, quite bold. I raised my hand for it to light upon, it barely landed and then was gone. Fluttering back through the flowers and trees, dancing in the warm summer breeze. ALesiach © 05/20/2016
