Butterflies Dance

BUTTERFLIES DANCE Butterflies dance in my garden, They are such a delightful sight Flitting from flower to flower, They are all so cheerful and bright. Butterflies dance in my garden, I planted a cotton bush there, And on it the larva has fed Forming chrysalis to gather. Butterflies dance in my garden, High in the air sometimes meet. Occasionally rest on a flower To taste nectar up with their feet Butterflies dance in my garden, They are enjoying life today. Three weeks their life the longest, Appreciate them while you may. Butterflies dance in my garden Monarchs in white orange and black. I'm pleased I prepared my garden And hope they will keep coming back Copyright © Vivien Wade March 2017

Thank you Funom, so pleased you like the butterflies poem, which was a true poem. It was fascinating to see the lava and chrysalis. The butterflies remained in my garden. Blessings, Vivien

Lovely poem, Scarlett:) I'm not sure what happened to all of the butterflies. We used to have a lot but these days I see very few. Very sad actually. Chasing butterflies is a fun part of growing up:)
