Butterflies

Butterflies are flying flowers that float on the breeze
Fluttering and landing here and there
Flying with gracefulness and ease
Gliding and soaring without a care

Elegance and beauty from a caterpillar
Upon nature’s timing-it enters pupation
Transformation of a garden killer
A gardener’s nightmare
and nature lover’s
elation

Butterflies are exquisite upon completion
Going through stages to become complete
An evolution from season to season
Splendor from a worm with feet
