Butterflies

The flutter of butter Flies down below Rising gently upwards Upwards they do go Tickling your innards On their merry way Invoking merry feelings Throughout your merry day Tingling upon your skin Hairs stood all arrayed Like little lines soldiers Marching on parade Lips curling upwards An infectious little grin Everything is so rosy And your head is in a spin The butterflies impart their fuel, In your body burns a fire It coarses through your very being And fills you with desire Your steps become so very light, Like walking on the moon You walk to an inner beat Your very own inner tune Your eyes awake to the world Vivid colours so very bright The heavens smiling down on you With many rays of light It all starts with the butterflies And their merry upwards race And they were truly first released The first time you saw her face.
