This poem was posted as an Elfchen chain example for my Flash Poetry Challenge (8).
This was a fun Elfchen chain collaboration posted May 26, 2021, on Instagram with @twirlingtyphoon_01. I wrote the initial Elfchen and she the second. In case you haven’t guessed, our poem was inspired by the song “Butter” by BTS. Thanks, Disha!

Elfchen poetry consists of 11 words written in 5 lines as follows:
Line 1: 1 word
Line 2: 2 words
Line 3: 3 words
Line 4: 4 words
Line 5: 1 word
Elfchen chain created by second poet using the first poet’s last word for their first word. Man, that’s smooth, yeah?
