But When I Look Back

Well I left today. Without saying bye to you. I hit the road. For something new to do. But when I look back. To the town of yesterday. I remember. Your having a hard time too. I don't remember. The small things anymore. Like who was winning. Or who was keeping score. But when I look back. From the jungle where i am today. I remember. Not much about you. It's getting old. Being all alone. I want to get back. To the place I call home. But when I look back. To the troubles that were in my way. I remember. Those times we went threw. And if time, was prime then baby would you be my sign. And its for me, yes to be more like I am free.. Well I give up. Trying to forget you. I can forget. Even with someone new. But when I look back. To the town of yesterday. I remember. Your having a hard time too.

Thanks for sharing this... exposing your thoughts through your unique poetic style. Meanwhile, I greet you with the love of the Lord, expressed by John 3:16 of the Bible, "For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life." Be blessed.
