But Not Farewell

Farewell my friend, but not farewell, What do I know of our tomorrows?, Our lives held securely in our Lord's hands, But still inside I feel this sorrow, Will we meet again in this brief life?, Our hands clasped in brotherly love, Our savior knows, in whom we trust, If not here, it will be up above, So farewell my friend, but not farewell, For there is one thing we have together, The love of our father and our savior above, With this love we will worship our God forever.
