Busch Sitting In the Desert

“There is a new Norm!” A Queen proclaimed in the desert after the political storm “What was that?” The peasants shouted back. “We have a new Norm he filled out a form to be the new Norm.” As the peasants looked at each other “Oh brother,” they exclaimed about the Queen’s game Threw out the village community where she knew everyone’s name After the crowd dispersed Putting in their mouth anti-social distancing mint Certs They started grumbling that sounded like mumbling Doing their stumbling “Someone actually filled out the form and we have a new Norm,” Was shouted six feet apart realizing the reality that the new Norm was ready to start Being in the desert thinking they needed a shield In case they encountered this new Norm deal Since this new Norm was such the buzz There was much chitter chatter wondering who he was Finally they went to the local pub Coming to the closure about the new Norm by saying, “So what,” There it happened Amongst all the brewery tapping Sitting there the new Norm was at the bar Watching the tips go in the virtual jar A mass congregation arrived to enjoy the friendly place Comforting the peasants and putting a smile on their face “I am the new Norm and I took a few minutes to fill out the form,” he said as they sat Not acting like some power playing desert rat “Are you great tasting or less filling?” A question was asked Letting the new Norm to take off his mask Lowering his guard at the bar he answered, “I am neither great tasting nor less filling, If you invest in me you will make a million, Have some cheer enjoy the Corona beer and Let’s plan next year.” After blowing their foam from the King of Beers That they bought on tap A decision was made social distancing was a wrap “Hail to the new Norm,” the peasants raised their glass To the chosen one who had class, “This is your toast and Welcome as our village’s happy hour host.”
