Bus Stop For Heaven April 20, 2013
Standing at the bus stop for heaven, bought a ticket for the rest of my life
Can’t wait to start my journey, goodbye to trouble and strife
I’m travelling light with a vision in sight with my bag full of wonderful dreams
Goodbye to my past, I knew it wouldn’t last, that’s the way it seems
I welcome the sun that shines every day; I welcome the air that I breathe
My life has changed as I enter the bus, so happy you’d never believe
Look to my future, like what I see, travelling the road of life, happy and free
Giving and taking, looking for love, thinking someday of you and me
Don’t have a name on my journey, if we meet just call me friend
This bus will take me places as I travel the road to the end
Twists and turns are a thing of the past; I’m on my highway of my life
The sun shines for me today and every day, freedom just entered my life
Join me on my journey, you’re welcome, everyone, come share the morning sun
Travel light with good things in sight, no baggage just a small bag of love
