Bury Him

BURY HIM

Peaceful resting slumber, carry me away,
Breaking down the walls built up for the day.

Take me to a land, so beautiful so near,
reach up now to brush a slowly rolling tear.

Nestling in the blankets, tossing in my sleep,
seeing his face so vivid as I try to bury him deep.

Deep within my memories take him far away,
put him in a dark place where he'll be forced to stay.
