Burning From Inside

I felt this burning anger, deep down inside Like boiling magma, it just would not subside Searing me from inside, like a piece of steak Cutting through my flesh, pain is in its wake More it wreaked it’s havoc, burning all it found All the time gaining strength, spinning me around Hotter still it now burned, spreading further out Seeking ways to expand, its now finds every route It poured into my veins, coursing through my blood Filled my mind with hate, in a never ending flood The images it conjured, were graphic to the core When I wanted respite, it drew them more and more If giving up was my choice, I’d spiral into the dark But I cannot let this anger burn, inside me like a spark Quickly madness would overcome, again the lightless dark Raving like a mindless man, my life would soon be stark He only road left to me, is lonely, hard and long To walk this lonesome path, I’d have to be life strong To purge my painful soul, of all this burning hate I have to release this deep love, for my true soul mate.
