Burning Bridges

the silent air swallows my connection to my inner self
eternity passes before I can take my next step
on this flaming bridge unsure of more
looking back to see my footprints in the ash
faded love and hatred all around
so forward ill go facing my fears
just to find a road flooding with tears.

This is really deep. I am glad my life is going good now but really wish I could still write about pain. It's just so hard for me right now. But you do it really well.
