Burdenless
Bear a Barren Burden with a Bravery-believing Soul,
Beautiful you…
Nestled inside my excruciatingly exciting noggin
You told me recently I’m not burdensome
Bristled in my imagination
Is your kisses and embraces so handsome
In the end, pretending I don’t exist
Won’t make me that excited,
But will exit the feelings into the numb mist
You came out of nowhere uninvited
Haunted by the voices in my head
Taunted by the words you have said
Repeated sayings stuck on reverse…
Broken records of a nightly curse
Invested in you for so long…whether I’m right or wrong
You told me long ago I’m not burdensome
I’m a lullaby without a tune — a soulful, shameless song
Pretending I don’t exist
Won’t make me that excited,
But will exit the feelings into the numb mist
You came out of nowhere uninvited
Haunted by the voices in my head
Taunted by the words you have said
Repeated sayings stuck on reverse…
Broken records of a nightly curse
Longing for an unveiled heart-sight
Belonging in your arms tonight
Our dialect of love fills me up with all my might
Flowery pedals — so passionate, so powerful that it takes flight
Pretending I don’t exist
Won’t make me that excited,
But will exit the feelings into the numb mist
You came out of nowhere uninvited
Haunted by the voices in my head
Taunted by the words you have said
Repeated sayings stuck on reverse…
Broken records of a nightly curse
You told me sincerely and suddenly
I’m not a burdensome man of endless sin
I told you pretty intensely and fearlessly
You’re my kind of handsome human
