Bumblebees Intimidation

Bumblebees kiss Lamb's Ear
Drink nectar from tiny blossoms
I dare not go too near
For their sting is very awesome

Inspired by Brian Strand's latest contest
but not an entry..

Awesome: Intimidating

you know it is really funny, i spent my whole child hood, without getting stung by a bee, then when i was around 45 i got stung for the first time, and since then it has happened 2 or 3 more tmes, so i really freak out when a bee gets near me. this was a great poem and good luck in the contest. thank you for commenting on Two Apples and yes it is in the contest as far as i know anyway.

sara, about abelard, yes he WAS a priest. After his love affair with Heloise was thwarted,he joined the priesthood and she became a nun. And only they wrote letters to each other in all those years.

ps: Heloise and Abelard is a very interesting story. Let me know if you would like me to tell you about them in a soupmail. Maybe I could even blog about it. It's a pretty tragic tale.

Sara, I hear you. The bumblebees scare me too. Still remember the first time I got stung. Brian's contest inspired a great write! Love the one you entered as well. Love, carolyn
