Bullies Were Terrified of His Confidence
The bullies tossed A into a corner and she shriveled up and died.
B came along and they tried to do the same thing to her.
She rolled into A and said “Let’s get out of here!”
A was shocked, for she was dead, wasn’t she?
But B was insistent that she could be revived,
And her enthusiasm and excitement awakened dead A
So they ran away as C was entering the tavern.
They are mean in there A cautioned her. B was grinning.
The meanies smacked C around a bit and she cowered and cried.
Giving up so fast, D could not believe it.
He approached her and said “Do you always give up this soon?”
“Always!” C assured him. “It is my way.”
D rolled his eyes, not understanding. The bullies glared at him.
They were terrified of his self-confidence and his enthusiasm.
Bullies always are, but D did not notice them past his upbeat attitude.
He had been trying all night to find the right girl. Was C the one?
Can I teach you to believe in yourself? He asked C.
C was afraid, for this was something foreign to her.
But he had so much charisma, charm and confidence.
She smiled and said yes. The meanies slunk away, not a good night.
